Xiaomi Poco C50 Price in Pakistan is PKR 32,999 and the smartphone comes in 32GB 2GB RAM, 32GB 3GB RAM, and ROM memory storage. You can also get it in amazing colors.
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has launched a new entry-level smartphone in Pakistan called the Poco C50. As part of Poco’s C-series lineup, the C50 aims to offer basic functionality and features at an extremely affordable price point. Let’s take a deeper dive into the key specs and highlights of the Poco C50 to see how it compares in the ultra-budget segment.
The Poco C50 has a plastic-built body measuring 164.9×76.8×9.1mm and weighing 192 grams, which is fairly lightweight. It comes in two color options – Country Green and Royal Blue. Up front is a 6.52-inch LCD screen with HD+ (720×1600) resolution and a waterdrop notch cutout for the selfie camera. The screen provides adequate clarity and brightness of up to 400 nits. There is no gorilla glass protection, however.
Under the hood, the Poco C50 packs the entry-level MediaTek Helio A22 chipset with four ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2GHz. This is paired with 2GB/3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variants. Memory can be expanded up to 1TB via the dedicated microSD card slot. While performance is not going to be zippy, the Helio A22 handles basic tasks smoothly enough. It scored around 47,000 points in AnTuTu benchmarks.
In the camera department, there is a single 8MP rear camera with LED flash. On the front, a 5MP selfie shooter is housed in the notch. Both cameras can record full HD video at 30 frames per second. Do not expect advanced photography from these basic shooters, but they will suffice for casual snaps and video calls.
Keeping the lights on is a sizable 5000mAh battery, which Poco claims will deliver up to two days of use on a full charge. Charging is rather slow at 10W maximum though. The Poco C50 boots Android 12 in its streamlined Go Edition for optimized performance. It also supports dual SIM connectivity and has a rear fingerprint reader.
Considering its entry-level specifications and features, Poco has kept the C50 very competitively priced in Pakistan. The 2GB+32GB model retails for PKR 32,999 while the 3GB+32GB variant is priced at PKR 33,999.
This makes it an extremely affordable option for those on a tight budget. While hardware performance is basic, the Poco C50 aims to offer the necessities of calling, messaging, imaging and web browsing at fraction of the cost of even most low-end phones. Its massive 5000mAh battery should provide all-day power backup too.
With an expansive service network presence in Pakistan, the Poco C50 could attract first-time smartphone buyers on a budget. Though lacking advanced specs, its rock-bottom entry price point makes it a strong consideration for basic mobile needs. Only time will tell how well it fares against stern competition from other brands in this price segment.
So in summary, while the Poco C50 maintains a no-frills approach featuring entry-level specs, its price tag makes it one of the most affordable Android phones currently available in Pakistan. For users wanting an emergency backup device or something to handle basic tasks economically, it could be a viable option worth exploring.
